The Weekend

A year? A whole year? What did I do to myself? Okay. . .

This weekend I painted my makeup desk. Apparently, there is some type of powder that I use that will just NOT come of even if I wipe it everyday.

See? Really, really gross. And then there's the time my mom put a glass of water on some hot pink paper, you know, to "protect the table,"

and ended up with this. So I gathered up some supplies and got to work.

 

Love, love, love the color. It's perfect. I let it dry over night and added (some of ) my makeup.

I found the stool, pre-painted, in my basement. That was the greatest. It looks perfect.

After gazing at my work, I headed to the theater.

And made an entry in Wreck This Journal.

All in all a great and lucrative weekend. I just finished Looking For Alaska before all this. Has anybody read it? I didn't love it but I want to chat about it. Let me know!

Life in Pictures 1

I also never know what to call these posts, so Life in Pictures sounds pretty good. That's my goal, anyhow, to document life in pictures. So. . .works for me!

My friends Kailei and Ainsley and I went to see The Adjustment Bureau this weekend. Which, lemme say, was AMAZING. I love Matt Damon a lot.

I also made some delicious, cheap, popsicles. Yum!

And vegan-ish cookies because they're cookies.

Last night I had one of those dreams that stick with you all day. It's made my stomach hurt for a while, for unknown reasons. Don't you just hate those?

Washington, DC

This pack week was spent walking the streets of Washington, DC. I really didn't know how urban the culture is there. Not complaining though!
The night we got there, we visited Georgetwon Cupcakes, from that show on TLC that I've never seen. I have to say, it was pretty gross. I wouldn't go back. And I forgot to take a picture of the actual cupcake : (

The next day we visited the National Zoo.

Then Mount Vernon and the Potomac River. . .

The Museum of Natural History. . .

And The US Botanical Gardens. . .

I had such a good, exhausting time. Enjoy!
